• The lobby was great.
• Farther from town then we would have liked.

“Only issue was distance from town. There was construction with heavy equipment that ran all night so we had to keep all the doors and windows shut.”

• The buffet dinner was excellent.
• The service was shoddy; the building I was in was 500 YDS or more from beach, no hot water, and broken light.

“The hotel is a large complex under construction. The pool, stores, buffet (French, Italian and Mexican specialty restaurants are also available) were excellent. The service was very poor and unprofessional all around. Workmen interrupted our stay by knocking on our door to repair a none essential light. The water in our shower would not heat up-when we called the front desk they told us the same problem occurred the day before and they would resolve it. It was not resolved before we left. The hotels increase the rate on behalf of the taxi drivers to help them out. We negotiated a better price individually with the taxi driver that still paid him handsomely while not gouging us. .”

• The atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff.
• It was just a bit out of the way. Had to go by van to the beach. Restaurant hours.

“This is a wonderful place to relax. The spa is beautiful and the staff extremely helpful. The rooms were spacious and had an exotic feel. The welcome at check-in was unexpected, but a pleasant surprise after a day of traveling. I would highly recommend.”

• A beautiful hotel and property.
• Beds are very hard. Hard mattress on a platform bed.

“Arriving at night, the hotel was difficult to find. It is situated in a residential, condo area of playa car and not marked well. The property and the hotel are beautiful, surrounded by lush vegetation, located on a golf course. We were fortunate to be upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom suite which was huge and nicely furnished. (My only complaint was a very hard bed, although I have found this other places in the Yucatan) the hotel and restaurant staff was friendly and very helpful. Although we were only there for one night, we enjoyed the experience and would stay there again. The next time I would take advantage of the beautiful spa facilities located on the property. ”

• Beautiful Hotel.
• This hotel is a front for time share scam artists. Stay away.

“This gorgeous hotel is nothing but a show piece to attract people to buy into their theft ring. Once you sign the vague contract, they will have you on the hook to pay more money than you ever expected. If you do go, you will enjoy the rooms, the service, the pool, but only once, because they will discourage you from ever coming back unless you give them more money. Do your due diligence and look for Hacienda Vista Real, Premier-Holiday Vacation Club, Royal Holiday Vacation Club in your web searches and read all the complaints. They are all associated with the same group of crooks.”
