  • Located approximately 2 miles from the Arc de Triomph and right next to the Grand Arch.
  • No hot water available.

“The hotel and the rooms are clean and spacious. However, a hotel can look good and be clean, but no hot water. When we checked in we were told that the hot water was turned off but would be available at 5pm that evening. We were disappointed and in need of a hot shower after traveling 14 hours, but we are happy travelers and decided it wasn't a big deal. We explored Paris that day and came back to the hotel around 5pm, still no hot water. They said it wouldn't be turned on until 5:15am Saturday morning. The hot water was still not on at 5:30am. My husband went down to the front desk and they told him it would be on at 8am. While my husband is standing at the front desk, there is a British couple right next to him being moved to another hotel because they have been at the Hilton La Defense since Monday (we checked in on Friday) and there had been no hot water all week. On his other side, someone was checking in and the hotel staff told that person that the hot water would be turned on at 5pm. My husband pointed out that they have a restaurant and wondered how they were.”

  • Close to the Metro.
  • Hotel did not have hot water and the staff promised it would work and it did not and we had to leave.

“We had no hot water, they kept promising to us that it would be on but it never came on. we eventually moved and lost most of our precious time in paris.”

  • I really liked the free on-sight gym and
the room was also very nice.
  • It was far from tourist attractions.

“I really enjoyed this hotel. It was a great place to relax, especially on business. It was located right by the metro station in the main business district, which was a big plus. The mall across the street was really convenient. The room was clean and spacious, but not mind blowing.”

  • The staff were very pleasant and the rooms were modern and clean. The location of this hotel was very convenient to the Metro.
  • There was no gift shop that I could go to when the mall across the street was closed. The beds were really low to the ground.

“This hotel was very convenient to public transportation and only 15 minutes train ride to the center of Paris and a maximum of 30 minutes to all the major attractions. I thought the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and modern. I really liked that there was a major shopping mall across the courtyard.”

“Excellent value for the money. Larger than most Parisian hotel rooms with excellent climate control.”

  • Close to metro and shopping center with large rooms.
  • Carpet needed to be changed as it had a funny smell.

“Modern hotel located under the roof of a conference facility. Looks relatively new with large rooms and a bathroom with bathtub and shower head as well as hand-held shower. We had a room with one large king and it came with mini-fridge and free coffee for the coffee-maker. Also has mini-safe. No real views apart from the inside of the conference hall. The only negative was that the carpet was stained and had a smell-a replacement of this would be appropriate. Meets North American standards as a generic, business-type hotel room. If you want something with European charm, this might not be the hotel for you.”

  • American size hotel rooms and class.
  • Cabs have difficulty finding it, only easy to access via metro.

“Great hotel based on American standards. Large rooms and posh features. However, the hotel is not easily accessible by car. The entrance is in an obscure location that only the hotel staff can find. On the other hand, if you are traveling by metro, it is a great location and easy to find.”

  • The room design and reception staff.
  • Restaurant staff was inexperienced; don't care about my order not good customer service in the restaurant.

“Unique room design it was a good hotel but no gym, these days a lot of people exercise. Hard to find the entry and exit of the hotel.”

  • Work area size and internet worked (and onl 12 EU).
  • Hard to get a cab.

“The week of the Partis Air Show, we thought we would never get anything this nice. The bathroom was superb, tub and shower. The internet was less expensive than the Airport Hilton (30EU vs 12EU at La Defense).”
