“Good for the value, a bit in outer Paris but still convenient, the Metro is closely, the room is big, no problem whatsoever.”

“Great rooms, comfortable beds, great amenities, fabulous breakfast included. But far from top Paris attractions.”

“The place is fine. There are lots of nearby places to eat economically and well, plus a mall, movie theater, sports stadium, and the metro. You will have no complaints.”

“Conveniently located to explore Paris, close to metro. Great area for cafe's and small shops. Definitely directed towards the business traveler. Great room to come back to and relax.”

“Great stay, great people. 10 minutes maximum from hotel room to downtown stops (pyramids and Halle) on Metro. Also, the nicest newest metro line 14. It took me longer to get from Louvre to Monemarte (sp) than from hotel to Louvre. Great little area (Bercy village) 50 meters from hotel door with several decent restaurants and a quaint feel. The restaurants there have great service (super excellent service for France). The service at the hotel was above and beyond. The room was about size of an average Hilton or oversized Holiday. I didn't eat at the Hotel restaurant or breakfast there, so no comment. Highly recommend.”

“I did not expect to be charged extra for the breakfast, due likely to an early misunderstanding on my part. I got no outgoing telephone service until after a special trip to the lobby, and did not expect to pay 12 euros for a call within region 1. Otherwise, I got outstanding service both in the dining room and from the concierge.”

“This is my second trip to the Sofitel Bercy and I LOVE this hotel. However, the room service leaves something to be desired: a 4-star meal literally would not be enough for a child or a grown man. Better order two meals to be sure you don't feel hungry! I informed the hotel and they responded immediately by letter.”

“Basically, this hotel rocked.”

“This hotel was marginal for the star rating. The room had peeling wall paper, the hotel was poorly located, but most off all the staff was not helpful. In fact, the staff was rude. I know Paris has a reputation for rude people, but this was way over the top. They offered no services and even gave me problems about cashing travelers checks. I will never stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone. For a four star luxury hotel, I have had better experiences at a Motel 6.”

“This hotel was fabulous. It is near the end of the metro line 14 and close to the metro. The area is very safe, with lots of little shops, and stores nearby, as well as the movie theater The rooms were huge and elegant. For those of you who are fans of Star bucks Coffee, there is one close by as well.”

“Excellent modern hotel, lovely comfortable beds. A nice oasis in Paris, although a little away from the center, but convenient for the Metro.”

“This is comparable to Sofitel Grande Arche in La Defense. Both are modern hotels and have everything you need. The only complaint that I have is that many Euro hotels now use mini-bar vendors that pack the fridge with food, so that you cannot use it for anything and the rates they charge are so high that is ridiculous (6 dollars for a can of coke).”
