• Staff was nice and friendly.
• The attitude and the reaction of the front desk manager when the staling of our money happened.

“For more than 2 years me and my family were planning and saving to spend nice vacation in Paris, specially we visited it before many times. I would like to draw your attention to bad experience I faced with my family during our vacation we spent recently in Paris. The story began when we flow to Paris on July 8, 2008 and stayed in Hotel Le Belmont. We stayed in tow connecting rooms (this mainly the reason why selected this hotel + it is closure to the champ pelisse area). On 24 July 2008 around 11 am while my wife and our kids having their breakfast in the hotel restaurant, her hand case were stole from the table at the restaurant. At that mints I asked the deputy manger whom he was handling the front desk to call the police specially the restaurant was empty and my wife was suspicious about one of the staff whom she was collecting the empty plats, also she was suspicious about other woman were sitting not far from our table. However, he refuse to call the police claiming the police will not come for such action. Then I went with one of the hotel staff to the police station. The police man in the front desk provide me declaration paper for passport lost and refuse to take any action regarding the money we lost (9200 euros+ digital camera) which was inside the hand case. He also refuses to issue report or any other sort of papers for my lost! We forced to cut our vacation and left franc next day 7/25/2008. Some of the staff told that such accident happened before to other customers at the same restaurant! Since 1979 we are visiting France more than any other country, unfortunately, this was the worst experience specially the reaction of the hotel and the police.”
