“We stayed in a Castiglione Hotel for 6 days. The rooms were very small. The staff are very helpful except for the old woman in the reception area with short blond hair. She is very rude in dealing with the guests. She must be fired or be sent to proper training for customer service. The staff in the restaurant offering daily breakfast buffet were excellent. The hotel needs total renovation specially the lobby. It looks like house of Dracula. All the furnitures are very old not classic. Needs total renovation. The exhaust fan and ceiling in the bathroom are full of molds. I don't think it will pass 2 star hotels in comparison with the other hotels. Wondering where it got the 4 stars categories in Paris standard? All the place were dim lighted so we cannot see the molds and the spider webs in the lobby. The electric was not working on the first day of our stay. The lift was not working for 2 days. I traveled with my husband and 3 children, no choice but to stay in the same hotel because most of the hotels are fully booked. Quite expensive hotel but very low standard.”
