“Exceeded our expectations for comfort in a French hotel. The staff was very friendly, big room especially for French standards, with very comfortable beds, very clean, and all amenities we are used to in American hotels.”

“Everything was OK except although my rooms were prepaid they still put the room charge on my bill.”

“Great location with easy access to Metro/RER, therefore all of Paris. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, 24/7 entry security, great snack/light meal menu in lobby. Excellent quiet, air-conditioned rooms. We had a king bed with 6 perfect pillows, refrigerator, coffee-maker, and secure safe in room with personal code setting. Really a superb experience”

“Location is a bit out of the tourist area but only a block from the Metro. Lots of restaurants within 3-5 blocks. Staff is very helpful & friendly. This hotel is everything you would expect to get from Marriott. Nice gym that's free to guests.”

“Not a 4 star. Rooms were very small. On their website they advertise roll away beds are available in rooms and to reserve. We did this but they told us they did not have it. A big issue with two children ages 4 and 6. Also the bathroom had paint peeling off the walls and the bathtub tile was black with mildew. Not what I would expect in a 4 star hotel.”

“Beautiful hotel, not near central attractions, though. 2 block walk to the subway, though. Safe neighborhood, clean modern rooms, staff very eager to work.”

“Typical modern Marriott, good staff. Off beaten track. Prefer heart of St Germain Des pres/Latin Quarter. Would not consider hotel to be in Montparnasse. Talked with airline crew staying there. They said area is great so perhaps I missed something.”

“We were very pleased with our stay at the Marriott rive gauche. The rooms were quite small but had good amenities and comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful. There is a metro stop very near the hotel which worked out well for our stay since the hotel is in Montparnesse which is a little far from the central tourist areas. This hotel has a fitness center.”

“I would stay here again in an instant. The rooms were big for Paris standards and it is near a metro. Not near any major tourist things except the catacombs. Good cheaper restaurants nearby.”
