The Oasi Olimpia Relais is situated in the hilly part of Saint Agata sui due Golfi. The villa was constructed in 1892 for Max Brandmeyer, an aristocrat of German origin, who, enchanted by the beauty of the area, decided to buy the whole plot of land on which to build a luxurious residence.

Brandmeyer started construction work for the Villa immediately and, at the same time, commenced the landscaping of the surrounding land. It was this German entrepreneur who encouraged apple farming in the Saint Agata area by planting a number of varieties of the fruit, many of which were especially imported from Germany. Brandmeyer also instructed local farmers in the latest agricultural techniques. Thanks to a painstaking restoration, the Oasi Olimpia Relais is now a splendid Hotel, offering 12 stylish bedrooms all with magnificent views.
