  • Very clean, easy subway access.
  • Internet was .33 Euro a minute!

“Beautiful business class hotel with excellent English speaking staff. Be careful with the business center. Internet prices are steep at 0.33 Euro a minute. I believe there is an option to have free wireless internet and free non-alcoholic drinks in your room for 30 Euro a day very expensive. There is an internet cafe across the street at much more reasonable prices, but they do not have Microsoft Office.”

  • I loved the shower!
  • I didn't like that the hotel didn't have free Internet access and it was very expensive.

“The hotel is located very close to the city center with very easy access via the S-Bahn. I was really surprised how easy it was to get to the Marienplatz or the Hauptbahnhof. There are several bakeries for your morning Bavarian pretzel and a few supermarkets as well for picnic supplies located in the mall under the hotel on the way to the S-Bahn. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great shower. Unfortunately the hotel didn't have free Internet access and it was very expensive if you wanted to pay for it. Another weird thing was the automatic mini-bar. Don't touch the items or you might get charged -- not a problem really.”

  • Weatherproof access to regional train. Bath tub. Nice and modern rooms.
  • Prices for breakfast & minibar too high.

“The direct access to regional train (S-Bahn) was great. Welcome was short but friendly. The room was very clean and well-kept, I liked the completely dark curtains and the bath tub (somewhat small, but comfortable and with a thermostat faucet). There was a regular TV, coffeemaker and ironing board. Minibar was quite expensive, so was the breakfast (20 EURO per person, we skipped that and had weisswurst at a great Bavarian restaurant. We could leave our luggage there for the day after checking out, which was nice.”

  • Location was perfect, great train transportation to airport.
  • We could not find anything that we disliked.

“The hotel was centrally located and very convenient to the Downtown area. One could walk to many sites and tourist attractions. Fantastic underground train transport directly to the airport from the hotel. No need to even go outside.”

  • Excellent location to Munich's Marienplatz, and ultra friendly staff!
  • Buffet breakfast was overpriced.

“The Holiday Inn Munich is easily accessible from Munich Airport via the S-Bahn S1 or S8 trains at the Rosenheimer Platz stop. The hotel has an underground entrance from the S-Bahn. Upon check-in the hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. We arrived around 11:00 am and were able to check in early. We stayed on the Priority Club Floors and had the most amazing view of Downtown Munich. The bed was comfortable and had a choice of pillows from the hotel's pillow menu. Marienplatz and the Hofbrauhaus is just a short walk (literally less than 10 mins) from the hotel. We definitely recommend this hotel to business, family, and leisure travelers.”

  • Extremely clean, wonderful location, like new facilities, quiet, nice pool, comfortable beds and pillows.
  • Not like double occupancy in the States - the beds were twin size!

“Extremely clean, wonderful location, like new facilities, quiet, nice pool, comfortable beds and pillows. The only drawback for us was that double occupancy in Germany does not mean the same thing it means in the States - the beds were twin size! Oh and there was also a small mall attached to the building including a grocery store, drug store, restaurants (including Subway) and more.”

  • The hotel staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
  • Internet connection in the rooms was difficult.

“This hotel is easy to get to and also has a subway connection connected to the hotel for easy transfer to and from the main airport.”

  • Great location. Next to Metro.
  • We had 2 rooms reserved and were given rooms on different floors.

“This hotel is swarming with people from Middle-East. You will not be able to find a seat in lobby, restaurants, etc. The front desk may pick up your phone. The location of this hotel is superb. We had an early morning flight and taking the train to airport, right under the hotel, was a breeze.”

“Great location right above S-bahn station, friendly and helpful staff (who speak excellent English), comfortable room. Walking distance or short S-bahn ride to center of town and attractions.”
