“Nice, modern, comfortable and conveniently located hotel. Only negative thing was they have mini bars which don't work as a refrigerator for your stuff..” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

“This hotel is clean and Modern. We stayed in the executive rooms which are very nice looking and comfortable rooms. The hotel is easy to find and in a good location and the staff are friendly and helpfull. There is ample parking at the hotel but you do have to pay for this the price is '1 per hour. We enjoyed are stay here and would definately use this hotel again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“Thought room was reserved on booking but arrived and had to give preferences again and agree to a different type of room, after three were suggested. Do you presume bookings will be cancelled? asked re car park as i checked out and was given directions but i had asked re ticket validation. When i got to the car park, the machine inevitably asked me to pay '42. My daughter was extremely ill during her stay (food poisoning) and i had to mess about going back to reception to get the ticket validated. Really feel prices should include breakfast rather than creating a '20 - '30 extra cost. hotel itself was fine but these things let it down.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“I have visited many hotels of similar pricing. The accomodation was adequate. On suite bathroom facilities were not in full working order particularly the wash basin - blocked waste pipe. This was rather annoying but we did not complain as we had to get ready quickly and meet our friends in a nearby restaurant. Did not want to waste time complaining. The room we stayed in was clean. The drinks fridge was not fully stocked not that we had any drinks from here ! There was no bottled drinking water.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

“Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant, the rooms were comfortable, and the hotel was very clean, However we felt the car parking fees were excessive as we were staying at the hotel. We have stayed in many Hotels and never have had to pay for parking before.”

“I wolud like to have known the confirmation email I received from you actually meant something and that when I checked in they would not have looked at me and said that I did not have a reservation desptie my confirmation and reference number. I have written to you about this but actually expect to receive a reply. For info, if you care, I am staying over again next week but booked through a different channel”

“None of the specific requirements entered through the web site made it to my reservation. When I called to confirm (lucky I did or my kids would not have had anywhere to sleep!) they had extreme difficulty finding my reservation as my name was wrong.

“Having booked online, and read previous reviews I was expecting a modern efficient hotel. Reasonably well-signposted from Hammersmith Tube station (turn right from the District/Picadilly station - ignore the signs saying turn left!) you have to walk up dirty, unlit, concrete steps and ramps to get to reception - a personal security nightmare. However, the impression on entering the hotel was one of clean, airy, modernity, which is soon dispelled by the check in staff. Both check in staff (at 1800 on a Sat night) couldn't speak English very well, didn't know how to register the electronic room key and refused to take a Debit Card (despite the VISA symbol) as payment authorisation, although I had used it to book online. When we eventually reached the room (after incorrect directions from the staff) the water/ice dispenser in the corridor was broken, as was the Drinks Vending Machine, as was the in-room minibar!! Feeling thirsty, we tried to order drinks from room service, but was told that it would be easier to come to the bar and take them back upstairs! Furthermore, the Room Service food menu is a very limited choice (all salads, no snacks, sandwiches or even chips) and again we were told that for a sandwich, we'd have to go to the bar in reception, order bar food and take it upstairs. At this point I was a little bit disappointed, and had a shower to relax, although only one set of towels were in the bathroom, the WC was filthy and 2 of the 4 lightbulbs had failed. I tried to complain, but the woman on reception didn't know what a lightbulb was, so I gave up. The next day, on going down for breakfast, I was told that the room rate didn't include breakfast (it did, I checked my internet receipt) and I would be charged '30 for the two of us. '30!!!!!! That was the last straw, I left in disgust and will never EVER use a Novotel again, especially not that one. STAY CLEAR.”
