Golden Tulip De Nachtegaal has a pleasant ambiance, cosy bar and excellent cuisine This hotel also has a multitude of facilities such as: a swimming pool, all weather tennis court, bike rental, solarium and sauna. The hotel has 150 rooms (122 rooms have been renovated in 2001) with bathroom, toilet, telephone, TV. All renovated rooms are equipped with an aircooling system. Golden Tulip De Nachtegaal is a superior first class hotel, located next to De Keukenhof, the famous flower exhibition. The different lakes in the area (Westeinder, Braasemer and Kager) are ideal for watersports.[less]

Good location -- close to Keukenhof (tourist attraction.)
Restaurant service was slow.

“The hotel was very hard to find from the directions given. The hotel was quite clean, but it is definitely a "cheap" hotel on the model of a Motel Six. That's fine if that's what you want from a hotel. This hotel was a good value, given the price. The bed was a bit old and the room was austere. In the bathroom was a wall-mounted soap dispenser instead of bar soap. I usually pay more for accommodations and this stay reminded me why.”
