• Clean and
  modern rooms.

“It was a very nice hotel with clean modern rooms. They have a small gym, but charge a fairly high rate for internet usage. The shuttle to and from the airport was very nice. Staff was relatively helpful, although speaking English was an issue for certain staff.”

“The hotel was a bit dated and rooms small - there was a hotel next door called the royal garden that was a lot nicer and was more what I was expecting.”

• Best hotel we stayed at out of four 4 star hotels in 4 different cities in china and Hong Kong.
• Nothing really within walking distance although cab rides were about 5 minutes away from everything and were cheap and easily accessible.

“Great hotel, great staff, very clean and new. The downsides were that there wasn't really anything within walking distance, but that was only a 10rmb cab ride ($1.50 us); and the breakfast bar didn't offer as much selection in western foods as some of the other hotels we stayed at throughout china. The a la carte menu in the European restaurant was great and great value. Overall this hotel gets about 9 out of 10. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• Check-in clerk lied.

“We requested for a non-smoking room, but got a smoking room instead. We went back to the check-in desk, and informed front desk that the room smelled of smoke, there was a cigarette tray in the room, the floor was not listed as a non-smoking room on the elevator directory, and the housekeeper said that the floor is a smoking area. Front desk lied and said that it is a smoking room, even though all indicators implied otherwise. We were not pleased with the customer service.”

• Clean modern hotel.
• It is on the edge of tsim shatsui, not in the middle.

“Reasonable price for a clean modern hotel. The travel desk overcharges to buy a bus ticket to Guangzhou. Also expensive internet charge for using my laptop in the room.”

• I got the smallest room in the hotel.

“Hotel is at good location. Hotel staff is friendly. However, they give me the smallest room in the whole hotel. I can barely move around. I had stayed at this hotel before and I know they have larger rooms.”

• Great location, friendly staff, we were upgraded to a suite.
• The hotel's location is in a cheesy/touristy area.

“The regal colon was a great value for money. The staff was all incredibly friendly and helpful. They even upgraded us to a suite without us even asking for it. Needless to say, the room was large and well lay out. I was very pleased with my stay here!”

• Very good staff Friendly helpful.
• Slow to get us toilet paper and extra blanket.

“It is a great location and is easy to get to most major attractions as well as the subway. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The food is good and a good buy for your buck. The beds are hard but the rest of the hotel is wonderful.”

• Great location, helpful friendly staff, value in expensive Hong Kong.
• Only think lacking was a pool.

“A good quality, apparently recently refitted, 4 star hotel in a convenient location. Friendly staff are a real plus in Hong Kong, where people are often not all that helpful.”
