Only one of the hotel staff was very friendly and trying to be helpful.
The hotel manager deliberately denied non smoking customers of switching to non smoking rooms even though the rooms were available.
“Quite an experience to share with my fellow American travelers: while this particular hotel wasn't friendly at all to non French speaking guests, my best hope is, not every hotel located in hull would disappoint you. We noticed the hotel received large traveling groups; maybe that's why they weren't care about smaller group of five like us. The hotel manager mumbled French to her staff when asked whether the non smoking guests could be given two vacant non smoking rooms. She did not even bother to look at the guest, not to mention a generous smile. We traveled throughout eastern Canadian provinces, and that was the most rude hotel manager we've ever met. Having said that, we did appreciate the kind girl at the reception desk who made an effort.”

Located close to Ottawa downtown, just cross the bridge. Very nice personnel, especially concierge Charles!
Very old, not renovated for long time.
“The hotel seems to be very old. Location is interesting because it is very closely to Ottawa downtown located, just cross the bridge and you are there. Paying $7 per day for parking is a bit surprising because in the direct neighborhood is a lot parking space for free available. Definitely overpriced for this quality level.”
