Helpful, courteous staff; free upgrade to executive floor.
Extremely small elevators resulting often in long queues.

“A clean, efficient hotel very conveniently located in Wanchai. Courteous, helpful front desk, concierge and cleaning staff. We enjoyed our stay at one of the executive floors; our rooms were well equipped with the exception of very old TV sets which malfunctioned often. The executive breakfast room was small but functional and provides very good freshly brewed coffee from a machine.”

The room was fairly nice; location to mar was really near.
Front desk staff were really unfriendly and service bad,

“This hotel was no really described how it turned out to be, although the location to the mar was good, the area was right in the middle of the red light district, with many women on the streets and outside the strip clubs taunting for men. It felt like forever to walk to the mar since the streets were crowded with them left right and centre. As for the staff, they were very rude and not helpful at all, the service was terrible, they just watched as we struggled with baggage, no smiles, and no hellos! I was really shocked at how they were behaving, considering they were supposed to be providing a service we paid for. When we were checking out the staff were even worse, they just looked really miserable, it felt that unless you are dripping with designer wear then they would be friendly, the only good thing I can say about the hotel is that the room was quite good. But location and staff were dreadful! Never again! Was really disappointed, being British Chinese, I expected more.”
