• The rooms were very clean, the hotel was cute and quaint, and the staff was very helpful.
• Our non-smoking room was across the hall from a smoking room and we could smell smoke from the other room.

“The Achat Hotel is a small, quaint hotel just a few blocks from a large shopping and restaurant area. The hotel is also about ten minutes from the city of Heidelberg, where there are many great shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions, like the Schloss Heidelberg. Although the hotel is on a semi-busy street, on the other side of the street there is a park with a small castle in it. The staff was friendly and helpful and was able to help us with directions many times, and most of the spoke English. The rooms were a great value. We only had one problem with the hotel: when an occupant of the smoking room across the hall was smoking, it wafted into our non-smoking room. Other than this, our experience with the hotel was very good for our first trip to Germany!!”
