“This hotel might be the most disgusting and despicable places on Earth. You first enter the hotel to find an offensive smelling lobby with decrepit furniture and bad employees. You then are given the key to your room and you can choose to either take the minuscule elevator or the stairs. You then open the door to your room and the real fun begins. First, the doors are as light as feathers, the only security being a chain that you might accidentally break when you open the door. The carpets, which apparently were at one time an off white color, are now either dark red or brown. You might decide to find the TV located in the dresser, compliments of 1950. Then you should decide to look in the bathroom or test out the bed. The bathrooms are dirty, in fact they are more dirty than a rest stop bathroom. The beds are disgusting, the sheets probably unchanged, and stained. They are very uncomfortable. The place is the most disgusting place I have ever been in my life.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Amenities at Colgate Inn, Hamilton
