Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] •

  • Friendly & helpfull staff Clean Rooms with comfortable beds Good Location
  • Room was quite noisy - a lot of disruption from the rooms above Breakfast was expensive at '18 per head for room tray

“The hotel is in a good location suitable for those who don't mind a 10minute walk into the city centre. The service is excellent - each member of staff was friendly, helpful and efficient, the room was faultless in terms of cleanliness and facilities (except for a minibar)and the rest of the hotel that I saw was equally high standard. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[8] •

  • Plenty of car parking and good location near the Dean Gallery.
  • Room service menu restricted - very limited vegetarian food. No chain lock on door which was a bit worrying.

“My stay was only overnight so my experience of the hotel was limited. Staff appeared efficient and helpful. I had room service for dinner and breakfast so didn't have an opportunity to try out the restaurant - room service was OK but was the usual sandwiches/fries and very limited in terms of healthy or vegetarian options. Breakfast was powdered egg which I think is shocking for a 4-star hotel.”

Cleanliness:[2] • Staff:[4] •

  • Room was a good size. Reception areas smart and welcoming.
  • Cleanliness of bathroom not the best. Mildewed tiles and worn, stained towels provided. Bedroom was cold all weekend.

“Decor of hotel pleasant and public areas very smart however, bathroom could have been given more attention.

Heating was also an issue, the room was cold even though the radiator thermostat was turned up full the radiator was always cold (except when we checked in) A member of staff had to provide a fan heater.”
