• Restaurants were very good and entertaining. They had four restaurants, and the staff served guests very well.
• Shower was not hot enough; pool area needed a little work.

“The price/value was excellent. Though there are many five star hotels that are very new, and have excellent public areas, and that are in the heart of Dubai night clubs, Al Khaleej hotel offers a short cab ride to almost anywhere, including shopping, that is only around the corner. The 10 story building is very small and older compared to some of the 50 story hotels that are new, the hotel does offer a home feeling for the traveler, as you get to know the staff. I was very pleased except the shower was not that hot. I would stay there again. The restaurants offered singing, music belly dancing and entertainment, including smashing plates at the Greek restaurant, a good French restaurant, and a nice Lebanese restaurant with authentic middle eastern food. Breakfast starts at 7 am, and is buffet style, and is very good. If you are not yet a billionaire, and you want something nice, yet reasonably priced, and not far from anything, Al Khaleej palace hotel is a good choice. They have wireless internet access in the lobby downstairs and on the 10th floor at the business center. There is also a printer you can use. Wireless access doesn't reach all the rooms, though my internet access in my room worked if I plugged in my laptop.”
