• Friendly staff, cleanliness.
• Location, tiny room.

“The hotel is not in close vicinity to airport but it took a cab 10-15 min to get there. There were no interesting locations or shopping sites anywhere close. The front desk was helpful but promised a special fare of 11.50 pounds from hotel to airport but cab driver would not hear of it and asked for 16.00 pounds. Room was really small for a couple with two kids.”

• The front desk was very helpful on directions and the complimentary breakfast was very good.
• I liked everything.

• Reasonable rate.
• Location and key required to turn on lights in room.

“The location is not convenient. It is in the middle of town with no direct access to the motorway. However, the hotel staff was helpful in locating when I telephoned. I did not like the fact that the room key was required to be put in a security device in order to turn on the room lights. I was not told about this at check in and stumbled in the room. Breakfast was adequate, though not up to par with other B&B's I have stayed at for the same rate or less. Bottom line: compared to the cost of other chain hotels near Gatwick, it was worth the inconvenience.”
