• The room and bathroom were very spacious, also the room was a good temperature
• dirty windows, uht milk, no refridgaration facilities to keep baby milk cool

“To be informed of the booking process including a deposit which was not on the website it only informed us of us paying on checkout. Also what floor we would be on due to having a small child.”

• It was central and convenient
• Room was cold and in need of refurbishment.

“I find rooms booked on the internet tend to be the worst in the hotel,i.e. those needing refurbishment looking out onto the road or the bins.
In spite of the above ccomments I book hotels over the internet because it is generally easier and cheaper thgan going to the hotel direct.”

• close to the city centre, generous sized rooms
• our room was a little noisey as it was located above function room

“At checkin the receptionist told me that Id booked for the day before when I gave her the online booking confirmation (that was the day that Id made the booking on) she then told me that the hotel was full - I had to insist that she go check- she came back and apologied for her mistake.

From about 9.30 pm till midnight there was very loud music playing in one of the function rooms (a wedding reception I believe) which was located directly below our room - this could have been a problem if we had required an early nite.

There can also be a bit of a wait at breakfast for the food to be replaced when it has run out!”

• good breakfast,very central situation within easy walking distance of shops,cinema,bars and restaurant. Double glazing meant our rooms, overlooking a busy road, were quiet
• Shower didn't work and the rooms were cold until the heating came on later in the evening. The hotel is in need of decorating and new soft furnishings.

“I would say that the hotel was fine for a one night stopover.”

• poor staff attendance
• proximity to trasport,town center etc

“The hotel was rated 4 stars I would hate to thing what a 3 or 2 stars will be like.For a 4 stars est. someone needs to recalculate that rating”
