“I called a chat line from the room and for 180 minutes on the pound-per-minute chat line they charged me over 984 pounds! And they didn't say in their telephone brochures/guides that they'd charge that much for 900/premium calls. They gave no indication that they'd charge that much, and when I pointed this out to the manager she didn't care and was most unhelpful and said if I didn't pay my phone bill in full they'd call the police which they did. They were disgraceful on this matter.”

“Impressive hotel and check in staff very friendly. Room very nice but also quite cold. Ordered room service breakfast which did not arrive and also waited too long for lunch the following day.”

“Very adequate hotel for cost of stay - staff were young and inexperienced and this showed. We booked a table for 10 for dinner on the Saturday evening, confirmed it when we arrived on Friday afternoon and then when we went to the restaurant they said they knew nothing about the booking and we (all 10 of us!) had to hang around the entrance for about 10 mins while they put together a table. We were not offered drinks while we waited.”

“Only stayed one night but have no reason to believed that standards would not have been maintained.
Although car park is extensive there was a wedding reception taking place on the day of my visit and it was not easy to find a space.
Check out some time before you actually leave to avoid the 11.00am queue.”

“I would ask that my comments are viewed as constructive criticism.I would have liked to have been notified that this Hotel was indeed 4/5 star accommodation and NOT what I deemed to be 2 star. The bedrooms were disgusting to say the least. Cobwebs on the wall lights, most unclean kettles, which were truly unhygenic, grubby towels in the bathroom and grubby, discoloured rubber bath mat. Cold, cooked breakfast - ( not even luke warm!!! ) did not help matters either. All in all, very disappointing and I was charged for this !! The taxi service was good.”

“I would have liked to have known that having unloaded my disabled mother, I would then have to reload her because the rooms were no where near Reception and the main car park. Also, insufficient disabled spaces for car parking.”

“I would have liked a map of hotel before I booked as I found it too far away from my daytime venue. Also I needed to know that the hotel did not have a lift ro bedrooms.”
