• You're treated like a star the minute you walk in the door.
• Nothing negative comes to mind.

“It is obvious from the first minute that all of the staff is committed to excellent service, from bell boys to managers. Security staff is vigilant providing guests a feeling of safety. The concierge service has a wide variety of services from directions to foreign currency exchange. The view from the rooftop pool is breathtaking and the included breakfast is varied daily and finger licking good. Housekeeping is done daily keeping rooms clean and if you forget your laptop and can't use the hotel's wireless Wi-Fi, the hotel's internet cafe is a great alternative to stay in the loop. With beach access practically at the hotel's front door, it will be hard to decide where to spend your time, the pool or the beach. Overall, hotel staff provided my family and me an experience of a lifetime!”

• Great view of the ocean; budget; fantastic breakfast buffet.
• Very, very noisy; bedding not very nice.

“Capilla del mar is located in an upscale area of cartage within easy walking distance to shops with the historic walled city within a cab ride. The lobby was filled with wonderful exotic fresh flowers and delicious coffee. Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful although only 1 or 2 spoke English. American travelers may be put off by the high level of security: men checking underneath cars presumably for bombs or asking one questions upon returning to the hotel after 10pm but the city is extremely safe. I didn't feel uncomfortable but reassured at the level of safety. There's a great rooftop swimming pool with a bar and lots of tables to sit at and lounge chairs in order to sun. If one like daily servicing of one's room one might be disappointed; they're very laid back in this area. The hotel maintains a fun little beach front area, for hotel guests only, right across the street from the hotel. They provide towels, sitting area and sun protection. They also keep an eye on one's belonging while enjoying the water. This hotel will certainly satisfy business travelers as well as those wanting a safe relatively full service hotel to stay at while visiting cartage.”
