“The hotel was fine and not far from what I expected for the price. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It overlooks a beautiful and calm part of the ocean - a part of the beach that locals (according to one I met) flock to. However, you have to wear a cheap plastic wristband for the duration of your stay and you can't make an outside phone call without begging the front desk to help you and then waiting up to 30 minutes for them to take the time to connect you (although they are friendly when they do so). For the money, it was fine. And you'll spend most of your trip to Cancun on the beach or joining tour groups anyway.”

“This hotel should be rated less than 2 stars. Rooms was dimly lit and disgustingly dirty. Left the hotel after viewing the room. The hotel front desk looked more like a motel front desk.”

“This is an old hotel on a public beach adjacent to a noisy ferry terminal. Hotel and rooms was clean and very basic, fine for a quick overnight. Nice grassy spaces between buildings and overlooking the pool and restaurant. We were first assigned a basement room next to the parking lot, the worst possible room at the hotel. They quickly moved us to a better room when we complained.”

“This place is on a public beach was I seen the same homeless person everyday. There were bed-bugs. The maid stole pesos that were in a drawer, and my favorite bottle of perfume. If you don't do the all inclusive, a 4oz. cup of soda will cost you $3.00 USD. The 'free' bottled water is a plastic jug located by the bar that was warm and usually empty. The sand is full of rocks, empty alcohol bottles, cigarette butts, trash, and empty cups from the bar. The cleanest part of the beach was all the seaweed was. Don't get me wrong I did not expect to get 5 star services at this place and we knew going in that it was a budget hotel, but come on! Even asking for a cup of ice with a blue wrist band on instead of blue, I thought they were going to start charging us for the ice too. Luckily the OXXO (mini-mart) was a block away and finally opened up 3 days after we were there because it was robbed. Most of the staff live here and there is Condo's that are rented out also.”
