“When we got to the hotel, they placed us on a dirty room with a full bed and a pull down bed. After a discussion on the front desk, they placed us to another room with a king size bed and a small couch size mattress and the supervisor exclaimed that they have nothing else for the next days and either take it or find other place. The situation was very uncomfortable for my wife, children as well as me.”

“Our stay was nice. The hotel looked a little outdated but it was worth the money. The staff was super friendly but the food was a disappointment. We were expecting to have some "authentic" Mexican food, which we did not and the food didnt taste fresh. But it was edible. The shows were entertaining. Overall, we enjoyed our stay on the most part which was probably because most of the hotels there are on the beach which was only a few steps down from the resort. This resort is a nice place for families to go and relax at.”

“This was an amazing resort. The staff was very nice and the entertainers were great. This is more of a family vacation spot and great for Couples.”

“The hotel itself is beautiful...we upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, overlooking the ocean. It was just like the picture for the advertisment, or a postcard! Beautiful! The room is adequete-- Not too small, not too big. There is an area of the pool where you can be 'involved' in the activities that they have daily going on, such as water aerobics, water polo, water volleyball, etc. Then there is also a pool area where you can relax and not be involved in any of that. I like the whole resort feel of the hotel, it is all within close proximities of everything. (snack hut, swim-up bar, restaurants, bathrooms, etc.) I was not overly impressed with the evening activites...they were OK. The food was also OK... I was actually looking to eat a little more ethnic. :) Some good chips and salsa, or some tacos, tomales or tortas, or something...it was a lot of seafood, and some mixed americanized food--- don't get me wrong, there was SOME mexcian food- but i would have liked more.

“I had a great time. The staff is working day and night to make your stay really comfortable and fun, the size is ok, you don't have to walk too much to get to the different areas, nice gym, and the food is good, not great but it's OK for an all inclusive hotel. The rooms are very standard and all of them have view to the ocean or to the lagoon and a golf course. I do recommend it.” 10 of 10 people found this review helpful.Amenities at Gr Solaris Cancun, Cancun
