• Convenient place to stay for catching the euro star.
• Bed was hard as a rock and walls were dirty.

“This hotel was a convenient place to stay for my travels on the euro star. It was only a 2 minute walk to the Brussels midi station. The walls in the room were dirty though and the bed was "firm" to say the least. All the tourist attractions are a good uphill walk from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful though.”

• Close to Grand Place about 20 minute walk
• disgusting surrounding area dirty and run down

“The hotel is clean but the surrounding area is run down and dirty. It is close to all things you would wish to see and only a stones throw from the central gare du midi station which makes it easy for Eurostar arrivals. We had a problem with a light in our bathroom and the "15 minute" promise that Ibis makes to sort out probems actually turned in a 5 hour wait. Ever tried to shower in the dark ?? The rooms are basic and all have 1 double bed and 1 single bed ..... no tea making or goodies in the bathrooms. It was an ideal base and nothing else.”
