“bit short on parking space but very helpful staff organised on street parking just outside. Bar is a bit basic. breakfast was hot and served quickly but without rushing us. Late checkout might be advertised more, prior to booking”

“We were happy with the hotel and will stay there again for Modelworld 2006.
The price of 25 cl bottles of wine at '7.50 was not advised to us before we ordered and seemed excessive.
We were amused at the notice to hang towels on the towel rail when one was not installed ! Also no shelf installed in the bathroom.”

“At check in, I was given a key to a room that had not been vacated. This was a disapointment but the check in staff vey quickly and politely reallocated me to another room which was satisfactory.
I had some delay in ordering breakfast due to lack of attention from waiting staff. It was also difficult to attract their attention and communicate due to their lack of ability with English language”

“English breakfast was cold. Was kept awake by children running around and shouting in the room above until approx 3am (not the hotels fault though). Double room was very small with pigeons constantly perched on the window ledge where much of their excrement remained uncleaned, thus preventing us from being able to open the window.”

“Convenient location. Limited menu choices. Uncomfortable seating in bar area. Staff generally very polite and accomodating. Noisy plumbing.Not standard I would expect of 3*

“Hotel was ideal for the single night stay, within walking distance of the function I was attending. Whilst competitively priced, having to park in a public car park, pushrd the price up.”

“On internet booking I was invited to state arrival time. On arrival I was told in no uncertain terms I was too early. Why ask? Why not state when the room will be ready.”

“We enjoyed our stay in Brighton but would have benifitted from a photo of the room prior to booking and a more spacious and luxurious bathroom and possibly some movie channels on the TV. The breakfast in the Hotel was definately not worth '10.95, even though it was compimentary.”

“On arrival staff at check in desk we felt were a little abrubt not very welcoming. The room we were put in first was very hot small and dark . we asked to change rooms then were put right at the top of the hotel. I know that it was a special price and we could of upgraded but why were we put in a room which had too much furniture ?, only enough room to have the bed .
Brighton was lovely as allways shame this hotel mared our visit.”

“I used the hotel to attend a works function, it far exceeded my expectations from what I would have accepted for an overnight stay. It was excellent value for money”

“The hotel was nice and clean and staff were friendly. I would have liked to have known how small the room was before hand. It was ok for one nights stay, but may not have been had i been staying for a week.”
