  • Every thing we needed, was catered.
  • The weather.

“I and my husband have just come back home, after staying a week in the hotel, 24/08/09 to 28/08/09 and would just like to say a very big thank you, for a great week. The hotel itself was lovely, the staff very, very friendly, and the breakfast was lush, nothing was to much trouble for anyone, we have told our friends and family, that when they go to Brighton, it should be this hotel to stay in. Besides, the price was also good, so once again thank you and we will see you next year.”

  • Free Wi-Fi, polite staff, nice room.
  • Noisy floor, you can hear every time someone walk down the corridor.

“I had a nice stay. Great & down to earth staff/nice, clean and comfy room/delicious breakfast.”

  • Friendly staff. Good food.

  • It was exceptionally clean, staff were very efficient
  • walls were a bit thin:

“bit short on parking space but very helpful staff organised on street parking just outside. Bar is a bit basic. breakfast was hot and served quickly but without rushing us. Late checkout might be advertised more, prior to booking”

  • The hotel and staff were lovely the staff were vrey friendly and nothing was to much for them .
  • I liked every thing about the accommodation .

  • Clean, warm, pleasant and close to the exhibition at brighton centre
  • The noise and vibration of the kitchen ventilation fans. we were in room 116 right over the fans

“We were happy with the hotel and will stay there again for Modelworld 2006.
The price of 25 cl bottles of wine at '7.50 was not advised to us before we ordered and seemed excessive.

We were amused at the notice to hang towels on the towel rail when one was not installed ! Also no shelf installed in the bathroom.”

  • I was given a double room instaed of the single room I had booked.

“At check in, I was given a key to a room that had not been vacated. This was a disapointment but the check in staff vey quickly and politely reallocated me to another room which was satisfactory.

I had some delay in ordering breakfast due to lack of attention from waiting staff. It was also difficult to attract their attention and communicate due to their lack of ability with English language”

  • It was ok, despite a few things which could be sorted by the hotelier.
  • Pigeons on window ledge. Tiny double room. Cold English breakfast.

“English breakfast was cold. Was kept awake by children running around and shouting in the room above until approx 3am (not the hotels fault though). Double room was very small with pigeons constantly perched on the window ledge where much of their excrement remained uncleaned, thus preventing us from being able to open the window.”

  • Adequately met needs
  • Awful carpets. Shabby decor. Surprised has 3* status - not as good as other hotels I have stayed in of similar rating

“Convenient location. Limited menu choices. Uncomfortable seating in bar area. Staff generally very polite and accomodating. Noisy plumbing.Not standard I would expect of 3*
See below - would only recommend if someone wanted basic cheap hotel”

  • Convenient location
  • Lack of car parking facilities

“Hotel was ideal for the single night stay, within walking distance of the function I was attending. Whilst competitively priced, having to park in a public car park, pushrd the price up.”

  • Cleanliness of room was good
  • Plumbing poor - tap hardly functioned ( did not complain as overenight stay would hardly rectify defect)

“On internet booking I was invited to state arrival time. On arrival I was told in no uncertain terms I was too early. Why ask? Why not state when the room will be ready.”

  • The view was beautiful
  • The bathroom, the breakfast and the four-poster bed were all poor

“We enjoyed our stay in Brighton but would have benifitted from a photo of the room prior to booking and a more spacious and luxurious bathroom and possibly some movie channels on the TV. The breakfast in the Hotel was definately not worth '10.95, even though it was compimentary.”

  • Situation/convenience/friendly staff
  • We would have preferred separate sheets and duvet instead of just duvet and cover. Some fellow guests inconsiderate when returning to their rooms late at night.

  • the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good
  • the hotel was a little shabby the room was small and clostrephobic would not stay there again

“On arrival staff at check in desk we felt were a little abrubt not very welcoming. The room we were put in first was very hot small and dark . we asked to change rooms then were put right at the top of the hotel. I know that it was a special price and we could of upgraded but why were we put in a room which had too much furniture ?, only enough room to have the bed .
Brighton was lovely as allways shame this hotel mared our visit.”

  • eccellente colazione, ottimo servizio;
  • pagamento anticipato e non alla partenza come pubblicizzato nella prenotazione; stanza troppo piccola.

“tutto bene; alla partenza, alle ore 6.15am il personale notturno non ha trovato il sacchetto con la colazione da portar via”

“I used the hotel to attend a works function, it far exceeded my expectations from what I would have accepted for an overnight stay. It was excellent value for money”

  • Reception staff were very friendly.
  • The room was very small which wasnt advised. There was no parking spaces left, although there was information on where to park and how much it would be.

“The hotel was nice and clean and staff were friendly. I would have liked to have known how small the room was before hand. It was ok for one nights stay, but may not have been had i been staying for a week.”

  • Staff and overall impression of hotel was excellent upon arrival
  • Room too small, bed nearly against radiator and my feet hitting it, extremely warm-uncomfortable to sleep

“overall the hotel was well presented, tidy, well mannered staff. I would have liked to have known the room sizes as I am on the tall side and the room was too small for me, but that said, my partner who is of average height had no such troubles.”
