• Good size bed, comfortable, not too soft!
  Generally we were impressed with this hotel - particularly the customer service and the food. It was just the cigarette ash on the floor by the bed and the 'mute'TV! see below!
• There was cigarette ash on the floor - I had requested a no smoking room - this was clearly not one. The TV volume control did not work. We could not sit on the bed or in the bed and hear the TV.

“Would have been goog to know that there was a convention in progress that meant that the kitchen was unable to cope with dinner for one until the convention dinner was finished. Otherwise, very satisfied.”

• Friendly helpful staff. Good quality food and not being rushed at mealtimes
• No tips on pool cues, gives impression of not caring for little things which mounts up

“In general I found the hotel very good. The room was good for a family of 4 and the children had good, comfortable beds, not settees that make beds. As a non tea or coffee drinker I would of appreciated sachets of hot chocolate in the room. I also thought that the bag of childrens drinks & goodies, (which kept them quiet) was a very nice touch.”

• Spacious and clean feel to room.
• Too cool and the thermostat didn't seem to work. The W.C. was boxy and gloomy.

“The hotel met my expectations in terms of cleanliness and politeness of staff. It was ideally placed for the motorway network and travelling into town. However, I hadn't realised it was on an industrial estate which may put off some guests.”
