Effective the 1st July, 2002, Sydney's only fully serviced 3½ star hotel, The Royal Garden Hotel will be re-launched as RG Hotel on Capitol Square.
The hotel has been undergoing a $2 million refurbishment program with enhancement of all 215 rooms and suites includes, new carpet and bedspreads, and replacement of all bed ensembles. Room amenities include, direct dial telephones, data ports, air conditioning, mini bar, hairdryers and a remote controlled television.
The lobby has been upgraded to a contemporary style, and a new business centre and executive boardroom has also been created on the Mezzanine level to meet the needs of our business traveller.
The 1st of July will also see the re-launch of Kampung Malaysian Restaurant. After a complete refurbishment of the restaurant and bar area, it will re-open its doors as Malaysia on Pitt.
Malaysia on Pitt captures the true essence of Malaysia cuisine combined with a twist of fusion. The restaurant and bar are fully licensed and opens 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Currently underway is the renovation of the function room. Completion is expected by the end of July 2002.
RG Hotel on Capital Square is managed by RPB Hotel International Services Pty. Ltd, which is also responsible for the management of the Avillion Hotel Sydney.[less]
