• Fantastic location and marvelous views of the bay.
• Room lighting was DIM and hard to read by. No outside food allowed.

“The location is superb, right on the bay with a beach. The bay's water is somewhat dirty, however. The tours we took were all wonderful and cheaper than Princess Cruise's prices for the same tours. Food was great if you can afford it. There is a small fridge in the room stocked fully so we pulled out the supplies and put our own food for breakfast in it (not allowed, but we did it). It's close to Wal-Mart which has Internet "cafe", Subway, groceries, etc. The gold zone begins at the Hyatt and all restaurants there are safe. The ones we went to were always very good. Hotel has a special buffet daily. We tried the Italian and liked it very well.”

“I have been there with my wife on for three days. I was very pleased that I chose your hotel because there was everything one needed. Beside that it is located near the centre, your hospitality was superb. I have to thank you for everything while I was staying there for my holiday.”

• The pools were wonderful, service fantastic, Wal-Mart very close by.

• It has a great pool and very friendly staff.
• It needs a little remodeling.

“The hotel has great service, pool, lobby, and restaurant. the rooms are nice most have an ocean's view but they need a little revamping specially outside the hotel.”

• Staff very friendly and proactive, wireless Internet at the lobby if you are with prodigy.
• Hotel is too big and could get crowd.

“We were at the 21st floor and were treated like kings, kids are not allowed at such a floor so our free breakfast was transferred to the main restaurant which included hot food and even Salmon! Pools area are fantastic and the beach is one of the best in Acapulco. We went in low season so things could get a little crowd on high season as the hotel is pretty big.”

• Older building not kept. Staff is sometimes, and great sometimes not.

“As an Acapulco native going back to visit relatives, I have always known the Hyatt for being a great hotel. This time I was a little bit disappointed, due to the fact that the hotel was not cosmetically kept so it's starting to show its age, older everything, but for the price we got it actually wasn't a bad deal. Just surprised that the old Hyatt is going downhill this way.”

• Everything was horrible rip off.

“From the moment we arrived it was horrible the front desk check in was over an hour wait and when we got to the room the sheets weren't changed and there weren't any towels in the room. The room was dirty and horrible. The hotel was packed with families and children and above all we had to even pay $5.00 a beach chair to sit on the beach and get harassed by the passing public. This was the worst vacation ever. I don't recommend Acapulco to any one.”

• Club floor staff was excellent, club room food top notch.
• Groups hogging all the tables. At, 7:30 am all pool lounge chairs already had towels on them (i.e. taken) though not occupied! Noisy at night.

“Overall good stay, particularly so due to the outstanding club room staff of Elizabeth, Mary, and Judy on the 21st floor. Food for breakfast and afternoon snacks could easily be a meal! Great drink service too. Our room was very clean as well. Some downsides such as groups hogging all the tables in the club room, virtually all pool lounge chairs were "taken" at first light in the morning with towels, though no people would appear on them until late morning or sometimes not at all! Excessive noise from late night partygoers returning to the hotel on a daily basis (at around 3 am) and calls to security seemed to get nothing done. ”
