• Atmosphere, staff, cleanliness, they folded my pajamas.

“I just spent 3 beautiful nights at the Villa Uhu in August. The room was a Junior Suite (15) and was very romantic. The breakfast was good - they had healthy options, which I found is still rare in Budapest. The hotel is on a hill but the climb is not the something that should scare you away from this nice home.”

• Very pleasant and forestry location.
• 15 dollar taxi ride from the Subway, 22 dollars to the train station.

“Excellent hotel, but way far from the central area of Budapest, requiring expensive taxi rides.”

• It was like an excellent B & B with charm and friendliness.
• The location was a bit inconvenient to the center of Budapest.

“I give this very high marks with considerable charm, friendliness, and a homey atmosphere. Upscale but not pretentious in a setting of trees and seclusion. Highly recommended unless you want immediate access to the downtown though it is available by tram at little cost.”
