The room was good and the bathroom very clean
the restaurant staff didn't seem that well trained

“Check-in was a bit slow as it was necessary to try to find the housekeeper to see if the room was clean but I had arrived just after 2pm it's probably not a usual event. The room was very clean and everything was working. We sat down in the small bar ne”

Comfortable good sized room and location right in the city centre. Reasonably priced (when booked via website).
Breakfast inordinately expensive (so I didn't have breakfast)

The 60's feel of the hotel and the room. Also the interior design of the lounge and brasserie
No heating in the bathroom. Double glazing not adequate to prevent late night noise from rowdy groups in the town centre

“A perfectly satisfactory city centre hotel with a retro feel to it which I liked.
Directions to the car park could have been better, the centre of Coventry is not the easiest place to drive around. The room was comfortable with a good bed and heating although the bathroom was cool as the towel rail wasn't on. We really liked the breakfast and afternoon tea in the lounge. The retro feel of this was excellent.”
