Steep in history the hotel dates back to 1750 when it was a Patrician Vila. It still keeps the original antique pieces of furniture and character of the past. The horns of the hunted deer hanging on the wall and the frescoed room are some examples.

All the windows overlook the large park which surrounds Relais.

Along with guestrooms and suites, the main building will include an original billiard room and a living room with a library. The grounds will includes an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts surround by oak, walnut and chestnut trees; and former stables converted into a restaurant and conference rooms. The "Limonaia", a greenhouse where lemon trees received shelter in the cooler months, will feature a bar and fitness centre.[less]
