• Outstanding service, excellent facility, a true home-away-from-home.
• A bit pricy.

“From the moment the hotel driver picked me up at BLR to the moment he dropped me off 10 days later, I never wanted for anything. The staff is excellent, prompt, courteous, and friendly. The Oberoi staff know how to provide outstanding service - there in an instant if needed but not overbearing or pushy - they fade into the background when you don't want help, but are quickly on-the-spot if you need or call them. Every day there was bottled water, fresh fruit, and a light pastry snack in my room every night. Room service was good, especially for a hotel - I could even get a steak or a hamburger (in India where cows are a sacred animal). There is a concierge on every floor who is there at a push of a button. The same housekeeper attended to my room for 5 days and was always helpful and left my room ready for me. The staff clearly take pride in providing top-notch service. The room was very well appointed and always clean. The balcony overlooked the pool, patio restaurant, and gardens. The rooms that face MG Road have additional soundproofing to protect you from the incessant honking of horns from Bangalore traffic. I was asked to complete a guest satisfaction survey - I had one minor complaint - the internet service was a bit slow, though it is on-par with internet service in other hotels in B'lore and India in general. I received a personal email from the hotel manager promising the internet connection speed would be increased and improved on my next visit. When I go back to Bangalore, I will definitely stay at the Oberoi - no reason to even look anywhere else.”
