Tulip Inn Heerlen offers what guests wish for: comfort, relaxation and a friendly atmosphere. The hotel has 40 3star rooms. After a personal welcome, you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and congenial service. The hotel is uniquely located in the centre of Heerlen, a true shopping city full of boutiques and shops to nose around in. Heerlen is situated in the beautiful hilly landscape of South Limburg, an ideal nature area for cyclists and walkers. Thanks to its situation, trips to the Ardennes in Belgium or the Eifel in Germany are also possible. Other options are a visit to the Thermae 2000 health centre, the three-land point where the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany meet in Vaals or the tourist town of Valkenburg.[less]

The hotel is centrally located in Heerlen. It provides paid overnight parking and I was able to walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Herleen.
Though comfortable, the rooms and common areas are in need of new carpeting, paint and a general overall upgrade.

“I enjoy staying at this hotel because is close to the only indoor ski/snowboarding complex (that I know of) in the Netherlands. The hotel, though in need of a general upgrade (carpet, paint, room furnishings) is a fine hotel for staying few nights and exploring Herein and the surrounding sites - Valkenburg, Mastrich and Aachen for example. The staff are friendly and my stays have always been comfortable.”
