• The staff was charming; there was nothing unpleasant about the place.
• The hotel was rather standardized.

“Very nice hotel; the staff was, in general, most helpful. The pool was lovely; the room [single queen bed] was a good size; the breakfast and dinner buffets were reasonably price and rather good, although not very imaginative. I think the hotel perfect for those who want the familarity of a chain-like hotel in a foreign city. The beds were comfortable and the water-pressure in the shower adequate [not a given, even in chain hotels.] The rooms were quiet; either they are sound-proof or adjacent rooms are not occupied on slower nights.The location for those travelling by car was perfect; the hotel was very close to the highway. The city was very easy to get to by car or by public transportation [straight down Bld. Laurier by car, or take the #11 bus to the Place d'Youville]. There are a couple of malls very close-by, but they close early by U.S. standards, 17:30 and 18:00.If a member of the party smokes, request a non-smoking room with a balcony for smoking. I don't think there is a continental breakfast option. I found no charming little shops or restaurants nearby; just the malls and other hotels.”
