Windjammer Landing Villa 4-star

Labrelotte Bay P.O. Box 1504, Castries, Saint Lucia

Planned with an architect's talent (noted Caribbean architect Ian Morrison designed it) and a landscape artist's flare, Windjammer Landing is a true resort with fun and activities, privacy (you add the romance) and the look and feel of an exotic village.[more]

  • Excellent dining, well kept grounds.
  • Rooms need upgrade. Very expensive. Beach very poor.

“St Lucia is very expensive. Taxi to the hotel was $75.00 one way! Taxi to town $25.00 one way. Hotel has no ambiance, entire hotel needs remodeling. It doesnt have a good beach. Very narrow area and water has lots of rocks in the bottom. The bedrooms were comfortable, but outside the bedroom is all fresco, so birds and nature comes in so furniture is much worn, and yes mosquitoes were everywhere. When we arrived it was raining very hard, so the kitchenette was flooded with water, all the chairs and cushions were soaked also, and the hotel lobby had no power. I do not recommend St Lucia, and do not recommend this hotel. The hotel is more like a 2.5 resort. Very basic. We were very disappointed.”

  • Nice villas, beautiful view.
  • Bad business practices!

“Buyer bewares! I booked my reservation online. By the time I got to the hotel, they wouldn't honor the reservation because they thought the room was worth more. They gave me no notice that they were canceling. They told me that I had to pay the rack rate, which is full price. Reserve a room here at your own risk.”

  • Gorgeous, friendly, inclusive, great staff, fabulous villa..
  • There was nothing not to love.

“Windjammer Landing was the most beautiful resort we've ever stayed in. The two bedroom villa was spacious, well furnished and had a gorgeous view. The all inclusive package was excellent; allowing our family to eat whenever and whatever they wanted and included all beverages and water sports as well. The staff was phenomenal and the facilities were terrific. The water was great for snorkeling and diving. We know we'll be going back to this romantic resort. Be prepared for a hike though, the resort is on a steep hillside.”
