• Its position, ambiance.
• Looking slightly jaded in parts.

“A fabulous 13thC hotel set in the heart of Norwich - park your car in the hotel car park and never see it again until you want to go home. Fab shops, restaurants, theatres, bars and clubs all within walking distance along with the excellent cathedral. Some of the more characterful rooms at the front of the hotel suffer with road noise, if you want peace and quiet book in the modern extension to the rear. Great breakfasts but the restaurant not brilliant, however, perhaps 40 excellent restaurants within a 100 metres.”

“A comfortable and well run hotel.
Some rooms can suffer from road noise.
Excellent position for access to the sights of Norwich on foot.Alternative meal optons within an easy walk.Plenty of parking space at the hotel.”

• We were upgraded to a suite.
• The bathroom facilities in the Filby suite were not up to standard with the rest of the suite. In particular the sink.

“Staff were very courteous and helpful. The hotel is situated in an ideal location for visiting the more picturesque part of Norwich, especially the cathedral.”
