• Staff on the most part was very friendly and helpful
• confusion over the breakfast cost and one staff not so helpful

“I think you should make it clearer about how the breakfast works. We did not know that you could order off of the menu on the week days and then help your self to the rest of the buffet. Also if we had not looked on our online bill we would not have realized that unless you tell someone you did not have breakfast you would be charged for it. I also think that it might be a good idea to get some new bedspreads without holes in it. It is a minor detail but it detracts from the room. The service was excellent, except for the one staff member who was not very helpful when we asked directions on how to get to the bus. Otherwise we were very pleased with the service and would definitely stay at the Carlton the next time we are in Haarlem.”
