“The menu for the evening meal was too ambitious. The mussels in wine sauce were apparently very good but the fish in batter was more batter than fish. A simple grilled fish would have been more appreciated.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] •

  • Very good food from a suprisingly large menu for a small pub/hotel, good breakfast.

“The family room (1 double, 1 single) with en-suite facilities was more than ample for an overnight stay, but possibly 'crowded' for a longer stay. The food was excellent and staff helpful.”
