• Expansive grounds with beautiful landscaping.
• Must fight to be put in the renovated blocks.

“Though rated as a 3-star, compared to the 3-star in Cancun (Dos Playas), it was really much better and is equivalent to a 3-4 star in Hawaii. The older rooms are a bit shabby, but clean. Food is plentiful and there are never any lineups or waits or difficulty finding seats. Staff are very friendly and our maid "Maria" gave us extra towels, shower mats, flowers, etc. Boca Chica beach is crystal clear waters and shallow enough to wade out for miles.”

• Pools, landscaping, friendly check-in staff.
• Dirty, old room washrooms, dirty dishes and beach too far from resort.

“Nice resort with beautiful landscaping but there 3 major problems that my family of four encountered: 1. We changed room because the walls were not painted. In the replaced room the walls were better but the bathtub was so old and dirty that only replacing it would be the option (my kids were afraid to use it, room 16208). 2. Beautiful beach but across 2 busy roads more than 5 minute walk (advertised as only 200 meters away). Also hotel beach is fortified with a small wall and it is a bit of a distance to the water, this is totally weird and guests are not able to bring beach chairs closer to the water. 3. Food was OK, but dishes, forks and spoons were not clean and these plastic glasses were only rinsed and not properly washed. ”

“The crew at the hotel is very attentive. They try to make the guests feel comfortable and they even take out of their own time to accompany one to certain activities. The food is really good and they have a bar/BBQ 24/7. The rooms are very close to everything in the facility. In a words. the hotel is awesome.”
