“I was truly impressed by the service. Every staff member I met was outstanding. The breakfast had some really special inclusions, however something made me sick. I suspect the Warm Hummus Soup.”

“The good: everyone is very friendly, kind, and welcoming at the Dan panorama Tel Aviv. They put forth a very good effort at making your stay pleasant. The hotel is located across the street from the beach, about 10-20 minutes walk from the tourist center of Tel Aviv. Even on the hottest and most humid of days, one can walk from the hotel to nearly all of Tel Aviv's attractions. With its location, traffic outside the hotel is generally not gridlocked. By driving the roads south of the hotel to and from the highway, one can generally avoid the city street gridlock of Tel Aviv. The breakfast buffet is huge, diverse, and delicious. With attended omelet, juice, and pancake/waffle bars and a wide variety of fish in addition to the expected selection of salads and cheeses, the only item I would like to have Foundis lox. Finally, there are some beautiful, comfortable rooms with their own HVAC thermostats in this hotel. The bad: most rooms have no visible or accessible thermostat for the air conditioner. Some of those rooms could not be cooled to below about 80 degrees f. One room I tried had constant heat being blown in thru the bathroom. In another, the ac fan would not blow cold air at all. Beware the parking attendant here who tries to collect cash payment for your entire stay before you check into the hotel. Join the hotel's e-Dan club (free) and save 12.5% on the parking by paying for it as part of your room charges. Don't pay the parking attendants. Better yet, if you have a car, choose a different hotel. The parking is run by an entity independent from the hotel. A fine hotel such as the Dan panorama should not permit the parking attendant (after being paid up front for 24 hours of parking) to follow an arriving guest into the check-in counter and ask the guest to exchange currency immediately to pay for an additional week of parking. Do not rely on the front desk staff to know much beyond answers to the basic touristy quest.”
