• Apart hotel Tribunal is conveniently located by the Metro and is about a 15 minute walk away from the centre of the city.
• The hotel room reeked of smoke.

• Excellent location and friendly staff.
• Very dated.

“The premise is clean but needs a through refurbishment. Staff is helpful and quick responsive. Can't beat the location.”

• Very close to Metro Station, easy access to other parts of town.
• The area was very noisy and the rooms had very poor insulations. One can hear people making love.

“May be acceptable for the younger crowd who likes to be in the middle of all night action. The area does not sleep. Access to rooms is very challenging. It is hard to carry luggage from street to elevators, there are two sets of stairs, one of then with more than 10 steps.”

• The location was excellent and the location next to the Metro was very good also.
• Being that you are so close to the city it's very noisy.

“This is an old hotel with very good location and proximity to Madrid. There are also good restaurants and bars in the area.”

• Rundown, cigarette holes in linens.

“This hotel is very bare bones basic. Staff is friendly and location is good, but the rooms were rundown and a very poor excuse for a 3 star hotel.”

• The room was fairly clean and the staff was friendly.
• It smelled bad due to extreme humidity in the room.

“The location is all right - 5 euro/5 minute taxi ride to any main attractions. The area seems to be a gathering place for younger alternative crowd which keeps it noisy till about 6 a.m. (fine by me) the main problem is def. The humidity in the room which was a cause of unpleasant smell. Bathroom and shower were always clean. Small kitchen-like room with a microwave (seriously, why would you be micro waving something when tapers down the street.”

“This hotel needs to be modernized, essential things like towels being old and discolored, furniture is outdated and of poor quality. I would say this is a 2 star hotel at best.”

• Close to downtown.
• In the red light district.

“Need to negotiate two large set of stairs before reaching elevators in the lobby. Not easy to find. Soundproofing of walls is badly needed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good value for money.”

• Staff was friendly and helpful with directions and area details.
• Is located in a not too pleasant area the surroundings and front area of hotel is dirty full of graffiti, advertising posters all over the front.

“The hotel is well located as far as metro area and within walking distance of restaurants, main areas of town, the interior of the rooms need to be remodel and the a/c system is very poor. My personal opinion of this hotel is below average. By the way I arrived a day before my schedule arrival and had to pay for my first night.”

• Absolutely perfect location!
• Clothes-storage space was tight for our 2-week stay.

“We had a terrific stay here. They cover all the basics in amenities and service perfectly. We were 100% satisfied with the level and quality of services. The location is perfect - the nearest Metro station is almost right outside the door and it's right in the middle of the hip, youthful Fuencarral shopping district. Also, convenient to walk to Puerto del Sol and Plaza Mayor.”
