  • Great space. The room had a fridge. Clean. Great for a business traveler. Loved the apples in the lobby.

“Boutique hotel. Clean and quiet. Good location.”

  • Public areas were beautiful, smell in reception was of wonderful flowers.
  • Stains on carpet in room, walls were
    patched.

“Hotel was great in all ways except for the standard of the room. Our room had stains on the carpet and paint work patches on the walls. We only had a one night stay and the hotel was more than adequate for that. Positioned well withing walking distance of the beach and Hilton village. Breakfast at the hotel was complementary and adequate with pastries, fruit, juices and coffee.”

  • Great views, and nice staff.
  • Dirty walls, sloppy renovations, ice and drink machines not available.

“It was quite off-putting when I checked in and the walls were dirty and smeared, while the wallpaper was shredded and applied very carelessly. No balcony.”

  • This hotel was clean and cozy. Close to the beach and shopping.
  • Elevators were way too slow. Pool very small. No hot tub.

“Aqua Palms and Spa is a boutique hotel. Kind of small and charming. It is an older hotel that has been recently updated. The hallways and doors were just being repainted during my stay. I didn't mind the inconvenience. Maintenance is necessary no matter where you stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was small yet comfortable. Everything felt clean and neat. The only negative was the elevator situation. They were very slow.”

“The stay was nice and the room was more than expected, clean, comfortable, and modern. Available high speed internet, memory top mattress, and 42" flat screen. Everything was functional and clean. Continent location in Waikiki.”

  • The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the AC was working. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
  • We were looking for a reasonable room for 1 night, and this fit the bill, but it was far away from the airport and the cab was expensive.

“The lobby area of this hotel is nothing to brag about, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it suited our purposes for the evening. We didn't find the elevator to be a problem, it never took long at all and was spacious. This hotel was in the midst of a bunch of high-rise hotels, and it is a long way from the airport. Our stay was so short we didn't have a chance to use any of the hotel facilities, which disappointed us because they looked good.”

  • Good location, small but nice room, good location.
  • $20 a day parking, no place to park when you check in.

“Nice, but small rooms with city view.”

  • Conveniently located. From the 9th floor our room had a lovely view towards city.
  • The three lifts were very slow at peak times.

“We enjoyed our 3 night stay (wish it could have been more) at Aqua Palms very much. The location was very convenient right across the road from the Hilton Village and a short walk to Ala Moana shopping centre. Our city view room on the 9th floor was spacious and very quiet being at the back of the building. The view, while not ocean view, was still lovely. Our room spacious and the king size bed very comfortable. The bathroom was quite tiny but did have a bath! We loved this hotel and would happily stay there again.”

  • The room was well appointed.
  • Parking was $20 extra per night, construction was
loud 24 hours a day, had trouble sleeping.

“Do not stay at this hotel until you first make sure they are done with construction on Ala Moana Blvd, construction was loud and very inconvenient 24 hours a day. Location is good; the room was nice enough,
very comfortable bed. We would leave early in the morning, be back by 4 or 5:00 and housekeeping would still not have gotten to our room. No where near a 3 star hotel, maybe a 2 star.”

  • Nice people.
  • Had to sleep on the floor as they ran out of rollaways - 3 people with one king size bed.

“Gave us a small room with a king size bed. Had to sleep on the floor.”

  • Convenience of location.
  • Bathroom was small.

“I stayed at Aqua Palms on vacation with my boyfriend. I expected simple accommodations with a convenient location, which is exactly what I got. The room was sufficient - nothing fancy, but certainly comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small - I probably would have preferred a larger bathroom and not having the mini-fridge and microwave in exchange. The staff was friendly in response to questions, but I might have appreciated a little more effort to be helpful to vacationers not familiar with the area. But overall it was perfect for my needs - we could walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, running paths, etc.”
