• The beach is amazing.
• The service needs a lot to be improved on.

“Great place for kids. The beach is very smooth and calm. I was able to relax as my 4 year old and 6 year old kept going in and out of the water, without me being worried about waves taking them down. It is far enough from Honolulu to escape the city craziness, yet close enough to go have fun.”

• The overall feel of the hotel. Like being in a villa. On a larger scale!
• There should be a way to find out where the shuttle is all the time...

“This hotel was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were decorated in a warm way with mostly rich colors and wood. It is a little more "beach" than its neighbor, the JW Marriott that¿s just down the road. It felt a little more lay back than a run of the mill resort. We had a few misunderstandings with the shuttle service and felt out of the loop as far as that goes, but were otherwise very impressed. May I suggest arriving in the evening? It has quieted down by then and the lobby and main building are open to the outside and beautiful! Also, there are the three small private coves that give you a chance to enjoy the ocean without the fuss of a huge crowded beach. The paths around the property are nice, neat and well landscaped. The little beach shack restaurant down by the pool has food all day as well as a huge array of drinks. And the best pineapple ever! Also, the head of security was always around and incredibly friendly! This is a great hotel :-) check it out!”
