• Everything.

“Upon check in our deluxe room was not ready at 3pm. They put us in another room which was so small that we had a hard time to move around the room. Val scratched my rent a car and refused to accept responsibility. I will never stay there again nor will I recommend it to anyone. We reserved a deluxe room and got a standard room. ”

• It was in Waikiki.
• TV did not work, although they did replace it.

“Fine for an over night stay. If I was there longer I would go somewhere else. Too far away from the beach.”

• I liked the hospitality room with 6 high speed internet computers.
• I didn't like having to pay a dollar for in-room coffee set-ups every day.

“This hotel is located a couple of blocks away from Waikiki beach, on the ala wai canal. It is a good priced alternative to the big fancy hotels along the shore. It is not luxury by any means, but I was only in the room for sleeping at night, I mean come on, this is Hawaii!”

• The staff was cool and helpful.
• The bed was broken and sagged to the left.

• Location was near Waikiki Beach and International Market Place.
• Broken elevator, broken air conditioning in room, had to request towels.

“While the location was in the heart of Waikiki, the hotel itself was a disappointment. The room felt like something you would get at a Motel 6. The elevator was broken one day, the A/C in the room was broken, the water was shut off several time during my stay and I had to request towels one day because housekeeping forgot to leave any. The price for this hotel was only $40 less than what I paid for a 4 star hotel during the first 3 nights of my stay. Had I known the Sand Villa would be so bad, I would have just paid more to stay at a nicer hotel.”

• Clean, nice bathroom and fixtures, nice bar on premises.
• Valet parking only, $9.50 per day.

“Waikiki Sands Villa is in a great location and has very reasonable prices. The hotel is very clean. I was especially impressed with the bathrooms. Nice tile walls, nice fixtures, removable shower head. Overall it was a good value. The only downside was that there is only valet parking available, and it costs about 9.50 USD per 24 hour period.”
