“Beds are too small. Walls are too thin. We could hear the guest in the next room clearing their throat. We could hear everything. If you are a night sleeper, this hotel is not for you! Location and price are the only good things about this hotel.”

“Looked very nice in the lobby, staff was great at check in, but the room was very run down and bordered on not cleans. One bed only when two was required and when asked for an upgrade they said the hotel was full, it was not and the only upgrade offered was a very expensive suit. This was not a 3 star room in my experience.”

“This hotel was not at all what I expected. This 2 star was definitely at the low end of the 2 star spectrum for mainland hotels. The room looked old, like it had not been remodeled in 20+ years. I stayed in 2 separate rooms (one Monday, one Thursday), and both looked right at another building. The hallway walls and doors were filthy looking. I came across 4 or 5 bugs crawling around in my bathroom.”

“A fine hotel for a quick overnight stay. I'd hate to spend my entire vacation there, though. Our room overlooked the alley/garbage cans, but our room was clean and quiet. A great place to stay as you pass through O'ahu onto Maui, the big island, or beyond.”

“This is not a luxury hotel. But it gets the job done for someone looking for a reasonably priced place to stay for only a couple of nights in Honolulu.”

“I am surprised this hotel. It is dirty and scary to stay there.”

“This hotel is in a great location at the end of the Waikiki hotel strip across from the Honolulu zoo and large park area. Across the street and you're at the beach! The hotel is in need of renovation with rooms on the small side. Free internet access in the lobby. Hotel staff was friendly and great to work with.”

“The staff was efficient. The hotel is gloomy; given a room near the elevator, people were drinking and talking in the halls and other areas much of the night and it kept us up. Beds were terribly uncomfortable and the city view rooms were both tiny and a very bad view in any direction. Overall, one of the worst hotels we stayed in. We ate the second night $ and checked out one day early just to get out.”

“If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep at night and aren't planning on being in the room much, then this place is perfect. The location is good, across from the beach and next to a Starbucks and of course, an ABC store. The room was small and dated, but about right for the price.”

“Counter staff friendly and helpful. One elevator unavailable so sometimes had to wait. Quick check in and check out. Good Kona draught beer at restaurant but no happy hour. Our room was small but we didn't spend much time in the room. Good place to stay if you're interested in Waikiki shopping and people watching. Last stop on arrival airport shuttle. Plan on an hour to and from airport. 1-1.5 hrs if taking city bus.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

“Low quality hotel, not a three star, but perfect to enjoy Waikiki Beach.”

“The beach across the street was nice, Lulu's 24 Cafe was decent eating and had a great view, It had a Starbuck's within walking distance, Room was small no view from there except looking at another hotel. The elevators were broken and the two that worked were shared with hotel services, very slow. We were not advised we would be charged for use of parking lot and the safe in our room prior to check-in and reception host said welcome to Paradise very rudely! Would not recommend this hotel. ”

“The only thing good about this hotel is it is close to the beach. There is a sign on the elevator to press all buttons, this is most unlogical. There is always one elevator out of order and because of the signs, guests create unnescessary elevator stops. Worst of all, people usually end up taking the stairs. Also, the rooms are small, the toilet is low to the ground, and the shower water was cold about 8 out of 9 showers.”

“Boring rooms, cracked tiles, worn enamel in tub. Bed was comfortable. onsite restaurant, Lulu's, was good for B,L,D. Good location,on the quiet end of Waikiki, but facility is showing it's age.”

“The Park Shore is a relatively inexpensive hotel in South Waikiki with the beach just across the street but away from the crowds. The rooms are not large but satisfactory, most if not all with a small balcony. A lively open air pub restaurant LuLu's is on the second floor with a good choice of beer on draft and good food.I would stay there again.”

“The hotel was located at the south end of the Waikiki Beach at the public beach. It was not what I would call a three star hotel but that didn't matter as we were there to experience the beach and island, not to hang out in the hotel. When we did hang out on the hotel is was on the big balcony and watch the ocean and a wonderful view of Diamond Head. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There was a activities counter in the lobby. I however would never recomend the city view side, you would just see buildings and no island landmarks. We walked every where on the beach and did not rent a car. Public transportation is all around, take advantage of that. Over all the experience was great, however this is not a three star hotel.”

“This hotel is located really well, at the end of Waikiki, near the park and zoo. The beach access is great. The view from the rooms that have view is incredible, with a panoramic view from Diamond head to the ocean. Overall, though it is rundown. The rooms were seriously the smallest hotel rooms I have ever seen (and that was for an "upgraded" "ocean view deluxe room"). Had we had the room we actually paid for, we would have been truly miserable. The pool area was also rundown, and the people staying in the rooms on the pool seemed to be of the 'party hard' variety. I would not have felt comfortable staying down there. The staff was really nice, though, and upgraded us even further, to a "junior suite", which was nice. ” Amenities at Park Shore Waikiki Hotel, Oahu
