• Great location across the street from the beach.
• Amount of additional charges and odd bathroom.

“Very good hotel directly across the street from the beach. The beach, shops inside of the hotel, lobby, and pool areas were great. A couple of issues to be aware. The hotel loves to have additional charges for internet and parking. The bathroom is a odd. The door is only for the toilet and bathtub area. The sink and vanity mirror is open for everyone to see.”

• The room was big and the beds where comfortable, great courtesy room service.
• At the end of the waikiki strip, its a larger hotel so service is sometimes an issue.

“Great hotel for the money, access to courtesy room after checkout and late checkout service. Good location and across the street from the main waikiki public beach. Rooms are large and comfortable.”

• Friendly staff, lots of space and great facilities.

“Great hotel, would stay again, was nice and spacious and gave the feeling of space in crowded Waikiki. Great for the children aged 10 & 12 and the room was very tidy and well appointed, given a free upgrade to partial ocean view room without requesting and all staff were helpful and attentive without being over the top.”

• Location!
• Balconies were too small, air conditioner and the view.

“Room was comfortable, bedding, pillows and overall was very good. Balcony was very small with no view. Rooms average size as well as bathroom, good for a couple of nights but not to spend a week vacation. Location was excellent, walk to the beach across the street, restaurants, shopping and a block away public transportation.”

• It is very close to the beach and shopping areas.
• Parking fee is ridiculous at this hotel.

“Front desk staff and maids are very friendly and helpful. However, I can't say the same about the morning shift bell hoppers.”

• Location and view were great. Room was also clean and attractive.
• The price of parking was unreasonable.

“Overall we had a great experience at this hotel. The room was beautiful, it had a great view and it was located right in the heart of Waikiki. The staff was nice and helpful also. No complaints there.”

“The hotel was great. Despite prepaying for the rooms through Priceline at a significantly lower rate, our rooms were upgraded to an outstanding view of Diamond Head with a partial Ocean View on the 25th floor!”

• The room was clean, fresh, comfortable beds, and a great view. Great location to bus, beach, taxi, grocery, and restaurants.

“My husband and I traveled with our 2 boys (10/8) and had a great time. We were able to use the pool in the early hours of 8 and 9am. The concierge was a great help in getting a more affordable car rental (Dollar) for one of the days we were there (the Hertz at Marriott was double the rate). This is a clean hotel in a great location!”

• The openness to the outside yet with a strong feeling of safety.
• Waiting for the elevators.

“The hotel is easy to find and quite accessible. Although the hotel is large, it is very easy to get around for the basic needs. The colors used to decorate feel close to nature. There are enough spaces in the general areas to get away and feel comfortably quiet.”

• Beautiful setting; comfortable rooms, all staff very friendly and helpful, location.
• Food and drinks at pool were too expensive.

“It was a wonderful hotel. Prime location. Beautiful and tasteful lobby area, rooms, and shops. Great pool area. If I went back to Hawaii, I would definitely stay at the Marriott again.”

• Pool area is very run down and small.

“Rooms and staff are at a 4 star level, but the amenities and facilities especially the pool and restaurants are below standard. Cushiond on pool chairs are pretty bad.”

• The location is perfect, a block away from the zoo and you can talk a 15 minute walk to Diamond Head, across the street from the beach.
• Nothing.
