• Closenesss to the airport.
• No bar.

“Good hotel for the overnight traveler. Shuttle to and from the airport every 1/2 hour. Room clean and basic.”

“It was better than the Best Western which we checked out down the street. It was an Kay place for a night. The breakfast was Kay.”

• Rooms were clean, fridge and coffee making facilities in room.
• Only disposable glasses in room. Restaurant was not convenient for late check in.

“Very handy for in-transit. Arrived on a late flight, therefore could not use restaurant or pool facilities. Shuttle service very efficient and helpful.”

“Convenient to the airport. Transportation fast and helpful. Got to leave several bags for family member to pick up. Done easily and bag claim worked. Room plain but clean.”

• For proximity to the airport its the best, great free breakfast.
• Far from bus stop, and the shuttle wasnt frequent enough No dinner avail 4 X p/wk.

“We've stayed at all the airport hotels because we frequently cant make the last flight to our home island from mainland connections. This is by far the best one (and $40 less). It's been remodeled so everything is new, it has a decent little pool to cool off, and best of all it had a very nice complimentary breakfast with cereals, bagels, waffles, juice, tea coffee, etc.”

• Very convenient location near HNL airport.
• Staff was off and on friendly.

“This is an older hotel and it shows, however if you realize what you are getting ahead of time it is no big deal. Considering the rate paid on Oahu and near the airport it was still a good choice, but not for a longer term stay.”

• no frills but clean and quiet accomodations, comfortable bed
• restaurant breakfast menu so so, greasy omelet

“Mainly it's close to the airport, not a glamourous location, but the city bus takes you from the front door to downtown/ Waikiki. The staff are friendly and helpful, my nonsmoking room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant breakfast was so so, and the hotel shop was a friendly ripoff, but there are other places to eat or shop!”

• Proximity to the airport allowed us to be ready to fly out the next morning.
• Narrow dingy halls

“It was NOT luxurious, but a good enough place to stay one night right next to the airport while waiting to fly on to Kauai the next morning. The staff were helpful and they did provide a free shuttle to and from the airport (just down the street) which helped with the logistics of family and luggage getting back for the next morning flight.”

• staff is very friendly
• swimming pool closes too early at 6pm. after a long day one would like to relax in pool in evening

“good airport service. restaurant needs to be more accomodating, breakfast hours are too short, to 10 am only, no lunch service. staff is very helpful at the front desk.”

• carpet stained

“This hotel met our needs as it was close to the airport (less than 5 minutes), free shuttle, comfortable bed. The staff was friendly. Only downside the carpet had a lot of stains and a burn from an iron on it. Could use a little renovating.”

• The free shuttle service to and from the airport
• The room smelled moldy and damp; the window only opened 3 inches, no screen. Veiw of a parking garage/loading dock

“They have the market as there are only 3 hotels near the airport. Many people have to spend the night as flights stop going to the other islands at 9 PM. High prices for what you get”

• VERY close to the airport and rental car companies
• 2 different rooms on 2 different nights the bathtub would not drain. Restaurant and bar closed Mondays and any food nearby is limited at most.

“If you need something VERY close to the airport to make a 6am to 8am flight, this is the place for the price, but I would not choose this hotel for any other reason other than location.”

• Hotel is run down; restaurant was closed Sunday eve.

“This hotel is run down with very few services. The neighborhood is convenient to the airport but to nothing else. I would not stay there again.”

• Good location
• Checked out after first day (of 2 paid) because of low quality

“Hotel lobby, parking ... ok. I was put in an annex building where carpet was water damaged, duct tape used on floors to keep carpet down in elevator, and room smelled! NOT a two star hotel. Worst hotel I ever stayed in. Left after first day and found alternative accommodation.”

• Close to Honolulu Airport.
• They charge there guests for parking $6.00 a day! Since you are a guest and there is no lack of parking they should disclose the cost !

“The hotel is in dire need of renovation! Even though it is clean there are many things that are worn out!! The owners need to put some money into the hotel! The rooms and hallways need new carpets. Rooms need newer TV's and A/C. I get the impression that they think things last forever! Too bad the rest of the hotel does not look like the lobby!! Also beware parking is $6.00 a night!!”

“In general this provided an excellent spot to spend the night" while waiting to go on to the other islands. Assuredly, is 2 star but was convenient to airport and easy access to main thouroughfares."”

• Dirty hotel. Looked like it had been ridden hard and put away wet.

“This was not a good experience. The hotel was old and tired. I would not have even given this one a two star. The location was acceptable but everything else was a great disappointment. When we arrived there were two police cars in the parking lot.”

• It was a clean, safe place to sleep.
• near the airport, not near much else.

“If you are just looking for a place to sleep, the Honolulu Airport Hotel is great. The room was clean. There is a Starbucks and Jamba Juice in the Trade Center behind the hotel, which is convenient. Check-in and check-out was simple and quick. The downsides are you can hear the airplanes and the location is not terribly convenient to much on the island.”

• The price was about right for the services provided
• We just could not ever get towels to our room too many carpet stains

“it was ok but will not recommend anybody to stay there,to much funny business going on late at night a lot of people coming in and out,had a problem with a space to hold our luggage thats when they seemed to be rude when it was time to check out.”
