“Hotel has a great beach front location in a ghetto of condo development. The property shows its age. The room was definitely stuck in the 80's. The pool is very small and in the shade most of the day.”

“It was everything we wanted for our Hawaiian Holiday. We got the room that we requested. Beautiful oceanfront room on the ground floor, room # 102. Very basic, but what more do you need if you spend your time on the beach. Very easy beach access with two reefs to snorkel on. The reefs in front of the condo had a very big selection of reef fish and animals, even a sea turtle. The staff was great, friendly and always willing to help. We had a perfect holiday!”

“The location is close to the main beach with the expensive hotels. The staff was friendly and helpful. For us, it was fine as we don't spend much time in the room, or by the pool. If you want to have a beach or a nice pool, this wouldn't be it. Each room is individually owned and ours was okay, but needed some repairs. Also, no air conditioning, although they were nice enough to upgrade us to the ocean side, and we had the ceiling fans, with a breeze, so we were alright. Overall very decent, as you can pay 3 to 4 times this amount for the prime hotels. I would go again.”

“I was extremely pleased! I loved the kitchen, the balcony, being able to sleep with the patio door open, listening to the waves and more. I was looking for a hotel that would be cheap but not dumpy and this suited all my needs. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to friends.”

“Great deal for the price. Oceanside rooms in Maui at a reasonable price.”

“Comfortable, clean unit on the ocean. Good whale watching. Nice garden area. But noisy: sprinklers go off at 2, 3, 4 in the morning. Parking area is noisy and close to rooms. Loud construction was going on each day at Maui Sands next door. Some office staff is helpful, but others are not. If you don't mind the noise, and helpful staff is not a major priority for you, then the Paki Maui is a nice little place in Honokowai.”
