• Nice pool. On the beach, Air-conditioned, Big enough, Comfortable.
• Limited parking.

“I was thrilled to awaken and find the pool out our back door. The beautiful beach was just past the pool. Coconut Market Place is right in front for shopping and there are several choices of dining.”

• The receptionist at the front desk was excellent-mentioned sites to see and good restaurants.
• Wish they had a restaurant on site and the parking area was not near our room.

“Had a wonderful time touring the island. The receptionist was so helpful. She pulled out a map and informed us of places to visit and named several good restaurants. I wish I knew her name just to say a personal thank you. She made our visit so enjoyable since she passed on to us what to see. The people in Hawaii are so friendly and polite. I will return for another visit in a year or two.”

• Great value. Only 2* rated b/c it's an older facility w/o all of the amenities of newer hotels. Central Island location very convenient.
• Beds were full size vs. queens. Mattress & pillows could have been more comfortable. Beach wasn't very good spot, best to drive elsewhere.

“Great Central Island location in a town that was a perfect mix of locals & tourists: not too much of one or the other. A lot of restaurant choices near by. Easy to explore N & S from this hotel as a midpoint home base. Rated 2* b/c it's an old facility, but the grounds were very nice if you don't mind looking past the dated decor in the rooms. Staff was VERY nice, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Very clean. The pool and beach were not up to my standards (both were small & crowded), but there were some much more beautiful beaches w/in a 10-20 min drive.”

“The Resort Quest Islander is in a beautiful location with generous sized rooms. The necessities and more are met in the rooms which provide a lanai, kitchenette and a comfortable place for eating, sleeping and relaxing.”

• Great beach, pool and lobby.
• No restaurant and elevator.

• The lobby and internet access there. The outside 'bar'.
• Rather cramped space, being put on parking lot.

“Very nice outdoors lobby area - probe the best thing about the hotel. Easy access to beach. Not that romantic, however.”

• Free wireless. Nice TV. Friendly staff.
• A little carpet might not hurt. A rug maybe.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a decent price compared to surrounding area. Nothing exceptional, but very nice.”

• Honestly nothing.

“I have lived in apartments smaller than the room I got for under 200 a night. Unbelievable view close to everything. The best hotel I have ever been to bar none.”

• They charge for daily use of the safe and parking.

“Rooms are well worn but they are remodeling the top three floors as of 4/9/06. Nice long sandy beach.”

• Nearly every room has an ocean view from the patio area.
• Not applicable.

“Will stay here in the future. This hotel is conveniently located near Kapaa's Old Town area. The Coconut Market Place is a great amenity to this facilities.”
