“Looks good from the outside, rooms are way too small compared to other hotels at the same level and location; walls are thinner than a towel. I could hear word by word of my neighbors' conversations. The old couple next door turned on the TV one day at 6 am, it sounded like the TV was right on top of my head and woke me up.”

“Very good location. Easy access to all kinds of transportation - bus, train etc. Next to temple street market for night shopping. Will stay here again.”

“Hotel is located close to major shopping places like Temple street, Jade market and the Ladies market. The restaurant in the hotel is good not too pricey. The rooms are very small. Tsim Sha Tsui a major tourist attraction is about 15-20 minutes walk. Staff in the hotel is adequately helpful.”

“Beware of the construction! We had to move rooms because of noxious fumes. We initially offered air freshener - we insisted on another room. The bell room who took moved our bags said he couldnt stay 1 minute in that room. Overall the hotel has some nice features, nice pool and workout facility. The staff was friendly. Rooms are small and beds are hard. The din of Nathan road made this hotel a less attractive option for us.”

“Eaton was located very centrally in HK night life. Restaurants, shopping (including Temple Street and Ladies Market) were within walking distance. Hotel staff were very friendly and service was prompt. We traveled with our 15 month old baby and needed the use of a crib. Though one was not immediately available on our day of arrival, the next day a very comfortable crib (better than that at the Ritz Carlton) as well as a baby toiletry set and souvenir teddy bear was brought and carefully arranged in our room. We would stay in this hotel again and highly recommend it to our friends and family.”

“This would make a great business traveler hotel, but is also very accommodating for families (as long as your kids can behave in the lobby!). The rooms are clean and pleasant, beds comfortable, and the location is outstanding for tourism, and convenient to Central Hong Kong as well (via the MRT mass transit).”

“The Eaton represented excellent value for money. Although my room was small and could do with refurbishment, it was clean. The public areas are attractive and there is a great coffee shop with internet terminals. The new Japanese restaurant is very nice.”

“This is the worst 4 star hotel ever. It should be 2 or 3 star hotel at best. I was very disappointed at the room condition. The walls are dirty and there are holes everywhere.”

“The hotel looks great from the outside and the lobby is impressive. But the room was TINY and the personnel at the front desk were not very friendly. The pictures on their web site were misleading to the room we got.”

“The lobby was nice. The restaurants and bars were all fine. Business center is expensive. Friendly service. The rooms were very small. A little smelly and you could hear your neighbors next to you at all times. It was a bit uncomfortable. Definitely not a 4 star.”

“Overall, the hotel is very nice and I loved the location as it was by the night time street markets of temple street and mong-tok. I was offended that the receptionist try to give my husband and me a room with two single beds as she claimed that was the only non-smoking room left. After I asked to speak to the manager as I found that unacceptable, she did find us a smoking room with a double bed that was supposedly an upgrade. The residual smell of cigarettes was strong at first but I got used to it- better than being in separate single beds during a romantic weekend getaway.”

“The Hotel is in a perfect location. I would have liked to have received a remodeled room as the one I received had furniture from the 50's or 60's, a TV from the late 70's. But since I didn't spend too much time in the room the location really was great for shopping, however either way you have to be a walker to visit Hong Kong!”
